Hi Pete,
My question is on the BHAG. I don't have a product I am currently selling. I operate a business that I want to transition out of. Currently my BHAG is quite vague as a result. There's my personal goals, then there's what resonated with me when you spoke: the opportunity to inspire and change lives. If I don't know exactly what that looks like yet, where would you recommend starting? I could create a product for exercise sake, but I'd rather not play around and go directly for the real.

What percent of leads do speakers tend to convert after a stage when they have their signature talk and product suite dialed in? Having trouble setting my goal for this one. Thanks!

Would it be effective to offer 2 products from the stage? My online course AND 1 on 1 coaching? Or is it best to focus on one product? Online course: unlimited sales potential, 1 on 1 coaching: more impact but will max out my time. Need to figure this out to complete my stage to scale formula goals. Thanks!

Daria in our teams experience you want to instill expertise and vision in your speech - you might want to consider presenting your products as part of your theme and bundle. I think you might see that Variants are best sold in a one on one interaction with the customer through discussion a product video or storefront
You will then be able to track what to pace off of and up sell

BHAG for biz vs BHAG for my stages
I've been struggling a bit to distinguish between the "BHAG for my business" vs the "BHAG for my personal growth on stage"?
My BHAG for my business is...
Empower 1 million people by 2030 with powerful communication skills that allow them to confidently step on any stage, in front of any audience and delivery a talk that is entertaining, informative and provides maximum value, all while getting the results–increase their influence, increase revenue, increase investments, increase awareness–they need in order to stake the next step in their business.
My BHAG for my speaking from stages is...
By 2025, I will book 150 stages and generate $1,000,000 from digital products while positively impacting 150,000 people. Each of these individuals will gain valuable knowledge and tools that will help them overcome their public speaking fears, increase their influence as a leader and generate more revenue for their business.

Hi Pete,
I am a residential home and townhouse builder and developer. My business will be offering on stage for people to invest in my business, I will build and develop projects and sharing the ROI to my investors relative to their investment amounts.
My business will ask for investment in our fund from 10k. They would then be given a return on completion of the project relative to their investment amount. My question is how do I sell this amount to the audience? Do I tell them they can invest from a minimum of $10k up to the project build cost?
My service is a little bit different in that I am asking for investment amounts and not necessarily a physical product so I am a little unsure how to ask my audience for the amounts required as everyone will be wanting to invest different amounts?

QUESTION ABOUT PRODUCT, LEVELS OF PRODUCT, STAGE OFFER, UPSELLS:
Hi Pat and Pete, in Module 1's Vid 6 we have the worksheet with $ of product. I'm familiar with a model that goes: lead in product even lost leader, backend with bigger product, other add ons etc. Like the private event for 10X stages if we qualify.
I realized that Pete offered exactly this product on stage and that's exactly what we're getting. There's no 'upsell' offer (yet) or other ancillary product. What are your recommendations if we offer more than one solution for the same / similar problems our audience might share but to varying degrees?IE: one person just wants to learn how to followup with online reviews to turn those into revenue, while another wants to have processes put into their business that would require consultation, training, implementation etc.

Question what is considered "world-class" in % of attendees that opt in for more information. I have had links to send to people in my presentations in the past and been able to secure 7-10% click rate and RFI. However the Conversion # I'd like to get better. If we don't have a "world-class" threshold for % of providing contact information for the free gift - then what is the best you've seen to beat?
Likewise what is the best conversion number you seen?

*Clarity for Coaches*
I am SUPER motivated to start creating my signature presentation, but Pat asked me to answer a question before I begin, which I'm struggling with...
"What problem do you solve?"
What would be the best advice for coaches on how to gain clarity on what they want to focus on, but most of all, what 'problems' they are helping solve for their clients?
I'm finding it difficult to take all of the "vastness" of what coaches offer, and skim it into only a sentence or two to explain to others (without forcing them to sit through a 20 minute explanation).

Mandy I have a similar issue, as I've been doing consulting work that is unstructured. So I've decided to make my speech about a specific entry point. So instead of having vastness, there's a specific entry point with a specific problem for a specific client type. In my mind I will try to expand my backend with product that is related... but not sure that's a great way to go.... still puzzling it together. I like this question.
Mine now: My target client are hoteliers, hotel marketing managers, hotel PR people, and sales manager. The specific problem I will solve is "how to deal with negative online reviews". I will hope to do much more than that.0 -
What's the Best Place to Focus in the Course?
If currently I'm mainly speaking from digital stages (my podcast since 2013, and then webinars I'm creating) what part of the course should I focus on first? I want to make my podcast even better, for leading my listeners to a complimentary weight loss discovery session over the phone.I always give this offer at the end of each podcast but I want to make my podcasts even better for the purpose of bringing in more of my ideal clients/leads.

As far as my BHAG, I do not own a business. New to business world. I desire to create a program to bring a meditation-affirmations program to kids with cancer and other illnesses. A program to be implemented in their care facilities. I don’t have a team or anything else yet. This is an idea I’ve had in mind and had not acted on for number of reasons I was inspired when you Pete, spoke on stage at 10X. How do I build a 10X & TEDX speech/talk from here? What are key points I need to address?
