Looking forward to this module so much! Quick question before I dive in though . . . how long do we have access to the content within the course? Is it lifetime, a year, only until the end of the 8 weeks? Thanks!

When it comes to being very early on in building your business, and also very busy due to a full-time job, husband, and parent, but working to create an online course what is the best way to approach selling it? I have a fairly active and supportive community on my personal Facebook page, and a small Facebook group (100 people).

I believe it was Pat that said in the live call last week to do a webinar or free version of your course so that you know what questions people are going to ask so that you can address those while you are filming the course later on.

As for selling it after it's created––Facebook/Instagram ads? Personal social media profiles?

Note: I don't have any speaking events booked (yet).

    Hi Pat,

What's the name of the on-line course you are using? I did not quite catch it. I heard Kajabi and LightSpeed. Why did you choose the one you are using? Is it fairly easy to use?

ps- The bonus vault- when do we have access? I tried and it would not allow me in.

    Thanks!

    Ginger

So I have a question on strategy sessions and making sure that they stay on time. What's the best way to go about preparing a caller for a 15-minute strategy call if you are doing coaching. Should you send them an email prior explaining the breakdown of the call: 1st 5 minutes is this, 2nd 5 min is this, final 5 minutes is this.

Obviously you can't really do a lot in 15 min and I find people spend 15 min just talking about their background. Would like a better way to focus/approach these calls.

QUESTION# 1: What are the 5 MOST important details in which your experience in the FUNDRACING ARENA can advice someone that NEVER have done anything like it, and wants to get the best results in getting sponsored by the right entities that will be interested to help KIDS around the world to have a better future, by helping them to train them on how to love reading.

QUESTION # 2: For someone who is a business person with multiple corporations and experience in the brick and mortar kind of businesses, and never did anything related to Nonprofit Organizations, can you tell me the 5 most important steps I must take to create the best Nonprofit Organization from day one.

And with that I mean, do I need to form a corporation first? Do I need a special license, permit or other legality to start, what is the best way to do each step?

    Hi Pat and Pete,

I plan to create a weekend retreat as my main offer from stage.  Do you recommend the price include accommodations and food, one or the other, or neither? What would be the ideal amount of time...1 full day, 1 1/2 days or two full days? What would be the ideal # of people?

Also, my plan is to offer my book and healthy living product solutions as tools that can support their new intentions once they get home.  Do you recommend these other resources be offered as a "bonus" to the main offer, or at the Retreat  If at the Retreat, when should they be mentioned...at the beginning or near the end?

One thing I'm struggling with is how to convey my opening heart story in 5 minutes. Maybe I'm just too wordy, but I want to talk about how I drove myself out of business, and ultimately returned to entrepreneurship with a  focus on being systematic, and why that's been so important to me. It feels very difficult to convey how important this has been to me in just 5 minutes. Any tips on how to do it within the time limit?

Hey guys, I'm looking back at the section on maximizing my call to action, and thinking of what I can give as a free gift in exchange for emails. I haven't tested any of this yet, and don't have a slide that everyone takes pictures of yet, but here's what I'm thinking.
-- I have a template of a strategic planning session. It's a one-page document with questions to ask yourself to plan out your priorities for the coming week. It's a well-put-together document that I imagine people would want.
-- I have a book that I can give away the digital version of for free
-- I have a short course created with about 2 hours of content centered around Becoming Your Best Self.

I'm inclined to go with the one-page document for simplicity, but what do you guys thing? Also, do you have a template for a contact card that I could model?

I will be presenting to a group of people that I am not sure if they are able to afford my "do it with you" service offering. It will be in a room of 30 people. Should I offer the product that will cost $725 person or should I risk to offer the $1,400 package. This is not my invite and people will be there to learn about career development and the different platforms to more their career to the next level.

I think this might answer a lot of peoples questions: What should we shoot for for profit margin percentages in each category? What should we be shooting for if we're new or experienced, vs people who are recognizable by the general public (such as Grant Cardone or a president). I know we have the worksheet you gave us, but how are we to know if we are undercharging?  The sheet seems to tell us what's just tolerable.

    Pat,

I started this journey in stages with just an idea and a goal. I want to provide tools for personal growth as well as business growth that when tied together get an organization and its workforce, sales team, management team or any team all on the same page working in the same direction toward common goals. At the same time, it helps individuals that want to be successful in their careers. I have used these tools in the corporate world for many years and I know that they work well in that environment. I truly believe that they can work in any environment because I have used them in my life and I have successfully trained others and have seen positive change. I believe I can leverage time for young professionals by providing these tools. I wouldn’t know where to begin to put a price on what I am attempting since I have never done it before. I believe that to start, the direction to go is either the Coaching Master Mind or the Training Consultant direction. I love speaking because it excites me. Am I headed in the right direction? It is difficult to fill in the blanks in some areas because I don’t have a point of reference. Can you speak to how I tie this all together going forward? Thanks so much for the training. Roger

Question #1: I have several products/offers and cannot decide between them even after going through the different pros/cons you mentioned in part 2 of 8 Ways to Scale. Do you have any selection criteria you would use?

Question #2: How much content do you need in a digital product? I have one course that covers 18 modules with a video each which is about 6-12 minutes. Every module has additional material and homework. It has much less video footage than other courses I have seen, but I feel I just cut out the blabla and especially the guided homework is a key. I am unsure what price tag I can put on. The course is about moving from goal setting to real goal getting and how you become the master of your day versus the day mastering you.

Question #3: This one is back from the signature talk. In the opening section one of the goals should be to create the "Just like you" feeling and connection. I understand it that way that you imply this, but do not explicitly say it. In many of the videos in the FB group I have seen people say and comment to actually say "Just like you...". Is there any preference how it should be done?

Question #4: Can you offer basically the same digital product as a pure DIY solution for cheaper and the same content but with advanced support as a Done With You product?

Question #5: This is on overall planning of the talk. How do you develop the talk? Do you write it down word by word as a basis to use, do you just put down bullet points in a Word document, do you use a Mindmapping tool, are there any specific speech outline tools?

Question #6: I am not sure I fully understand what a Done for You product would look like. Could you please give an example or two?

    Hi Pat,

My question goes along with Ginger's question. I'm trying to decide on my E-Learning platform and do not know which one would work best. I love LightSpeed and what it can do, but it still limits me on offering free content courses and logins to unlimited users, without being charged for each user/password, even if they're not purchasing a product in the beginning. My problem is that 90% of what I will offer will be free educational content, while the bigger ticket items will be the products/courses for sale. Is there a platform out there geared more for this type of need/application? Or should I keep the courses/products for sale strictly to the E-Learning platform, and decide on another platform to distribute the free content in one centralized location? Recommendations would be great.

Additionally, if I remember correctly, Cardone U was using LightSpeed prior to GC3, and switched shortly after. Do you know why they switched, and what the downside was with LightSpeed? Or was it strictly financially based? It doesn't matter to me specifically, either way, but it would be awesome if I could speak with someone at Cardone's office on this topic if possible, to hear the pros and cons of why they switched, as it could help me out greatly... Just a random thought I figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance for consideration in answering the initial question above!!

     Regards,

    Joey

This module came at the perfect time!  Thank you.

I'm not making money in my current business. For 2 years I have an apprenticeship program, no money up front, but do an equity split on the profit on the real estate deals that the apprentices make. They have access to funding, lead generation, investor buyers....everything that you will ever need to get a profitable real estate business up and running in less than 90 days. (The model was intended to bring more people in that could not afford a huge ticket item, but needed a lot of support for real estate investing done right.) Problem is, that they have not done deals to the extent that I thought they would, despite live weekly group trainings, online FB group, extra zoom calls, one on one coaching sessions, a online resource center, and access to submit questions and have them answered. So basically, I have 5 of the 8 strategies that you have presented.

Now I have to course correct. (1) Which one should I charge ahead with going forward? (2) How do I transition my current apprentices out of this flawed model?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Pat & Pete,

#1.   I don't want to sound too blonde :-D but how do you differentiate Masterminding from Speaking?

#2.   In different countries, there are different prices. Have you come across this? If yes, how did you dealt with it?

#3.   I just got another master business idea apart from the original Business Styling. Which one to choose or do both?

Questions from the blonde in Finland (Tuija)

My husband and i are loving the training and have some questions:

    1. We are falling a bit behind because we found we got stuck at Module 2 and 3 on the developing signature talk.

WE are selling categaory creator health supplements in a direct sales business model so we do not make the procuct or determine the price.

We have two main audiences we are addressing when we do a presenation- potential consumers (who are everyone) and potential distributors who we will sign up with us.

We are trying to sort out for our main signature talk shoudl we build a talk on just the product or the product and the business opporutnity at the same time.   Also we are a husband and wife team and sometimes present together or sometime separatetly - when together would we each tell a heart story and follow the format or woudl we just pick one of our stories?

Also we do not know how to sort out creating a free offer if we cannot sell from the stage and need some help sorting this out.

On the first live call Pete referenced that a entrepreneur selling lower ticket items should consider being on more stages prefereable digitial - like doing an educational webinar.  With this in mind we are also wondering would we keep the main signature talk the same for live and for digital webinar or do we need to come up with multiple variations.

As a final question-  I am not sure where to look for answers to these quetsions if we run out of time to get them answered on the live coaching call.  are they being answered on 10 X stages FB page on the live coaching ?  or elsewhere?  Please advise.  Thank you.

I know you said only have a single decision at the talk, but why not offer a done for you and a digital product/ do it yourself in the same talk? If it provides the same result and is aligned with your talk, wouldn't that make sense because some of the audience will want it done for them and some will want to do it themselves?

Also, our primary offer will be our service ( marketing services, and helping people create and sell online courses), but we are having trouble coming up with the secondary offer based on your list. Any advice? Do you need to have a secondary product or is it fine to just focus on one? We are going to create digital products in the future but right now we'd want to focus on promoting our service and getting clients

May we include your thoughts into our own materials (given we provide the reference and all copyright notes you would guide us to do?) also, do you have an affiliate program ?

In Module 5 - Maximizing the CTA you mention getting two emails - can you ask for a phone number instead and use texting versus just email?  Or are you suggesting only email addresses during this section?
