I am Nazz, a 21 year old from the Caribbean. I don't currently have a product. Would it be alright to sell other people's products from Online stages? Also, would you have more than one signature talk if you have more than one product?

    Hi,

My Question for this week is: I am basically selling marketing and sales services to businesses who are in need of leads / need a higher conversation rate, Like gyms.

After watching your video's and doing the BHAG I figured out I want it bigger. I have a passion for helping people and make them believe that they can accomplish anything in life if they believe in it. So writing my BHAG down, I didn't say a word about marketing or sales but only about 'helping other people' to get them what they deserve.

What would you do in this case? Focus on becoming a 'life coach' or something and create a program around this. Or Stick with the marketing and sales service?

My name is Chris and I am an 11-year veteran with one network marketing company. Our service plans range from $24.95 to $149. I am not really interested in creating a high-ticket training seminar. I still believe I can craft my story and scale the stage to be wildly successful offering low-cost products. Do many network marketers find this to be true or are they creating high ticket training packages because I see a lot of them advertised on FB?

Like Anarcisse Alexander asked above, I do not yet have a product. I have what I believe to be a pretty incredible "story" of recovery and being able to thrive after trauma, however no product. In Lesson 5, Pete talks about aligning our product with our story and without a product I'm struggling to be able to do so!

Some thoughts to product are some sort of digital life coaching platform, or one on one live, life coaching sessions sharing the techniques that have helped me get to where I am....which is a completely different, "successful" (and dramatically healthier) person than the suicidal, depressed, substance abusing girl who pulled out her hair to the point of near baldness 10-15 years ago.

Any product ideas would be wonderfully helpful!

    Hi Pete and Pat,

My name is Gina. I have 2 questions for you.

    1) Can you make your live sessions after 6 or 7pm? I think that everyone is working at 4pm and at least I would like to be there and take advantage of this opportunity. I'm making a HUGE effort to take your training and 4pm Eastern Time is really challenging... Even for people in the West Coast, since they are all on Fridays. What's possible? Please be flexible :) :) :)

    2) I have a product and I believe a 100% that I can make anything happen. I created an organization for children with Autism, in Ecuador (non-active yet) and I want to create one in United States and all over Latin-America. I have a brand, I know I could sell courses online, training for parents, training big audiences, tips and more... I also have an Instagram page ( @Ayuda.Autismo ) and I'm building followers at the moment. Now, my challenge is: I work a full time job. @Ayuda.Autismo is ALL a product of my mind... BUT... How can I start getting, either donations, capital, money... Where and how I get to money so I can start doing this as my FULL time job? I can barely pay all my bills right now, and you know... is a bit of challenging to start and make a living of my Empire of Autism in Latin America (yes, even before seeing Elena, I thought @Ayuda.Autismo will be an empire.)

    Much love and appreciation,

    Gina Paola

HI We are selling health products in a network marketing business structures so our prices are set by our corporate office.   When doing a talk from a stage (on line or in person) we woudl educate and talk about the product and invite people to buy it / them and also could talk about the business opportunity (building your own business) by becoming a distributor.  We also have a third compenent of facilating our other distrubutors who we mentor and will sometimes present for them at their events or need to teach them how to present and scale and get leads.  I am not sure how to fit into this program from these perspectives yet.  Can you advice on this on the coaching call?

I am an attorney who mostly defends against lawsuits.  Most people don't know that they will be sued until they are served with the complaint.  Then, they start looking for an attorney (if they don't have one already).  What are your suggestions for developing a talk that will keep me in mind if they get sued one day?

I think I understand how this would work for plaintiffs cases--trying to get them to move on suing someone.  But I need help applying this to defense cases, which is mostly what we do.  Thanks.

I'm also in the network marketing industry.  Pete mentioned in Miami that this method is also designed to do it one by one.

I would like to know how can I design my signature talk when I present my business opportunity or product to one person before  scale it to a stage.

I'm very excited with everything  we are about to learn during this course because I'm sure this is a powerful tool that will allow us to impact more lives.

I wonder if you could spend a minute addressing clients you've had who have an amazing "story" that doesn't easily translate to a product.

My situation: I have a software business, but I signed up for this course to take my life story to the stage. (I have no intention of pitching my software). I'm familiar with info products and have several, but I don't see a clear path from my "really good story" to a product I can sell from a stage.

Is speaker's fees the best monetization path, or do you have success stories about creatively monetizing talks that don't fit neatly into "health / wealth / relationships"?

    Thanks.

For years, I have taught inspiring, informative and engaging workshops with audiences ranging from 10 to 300 in attendance that have been very well received based on the feedback. My 9 to 5 paid career is in the finance/accounting industry so some of these talks focused on financial operations or procedures. However, I have also had the opportunity to speak on faith, parenting, family budgeting, leadership and healthy living.

I am passionate transforming lives and enjoy leading workshops tremendously.  Thus, I am now re-engineering my financial reporting and accounting career to transition into making a living inspiring others from stages toward becoming a healthier, wealthier, wiser and more faithful version of themselves. I have written a faith-based book and I am also a network/social marketer in the 'wellness/healthy living" products space with a business model similar to the one described by Kaleen above.

How do I pull all this together in a way that allows me to make steady progress toward my goal of leveraging my diverse experience and background to create an abundant lifestyle from speaking engagements, while concurrently engaged in financial projects needed to have the cash flow to finance this transition?

Also, with regard to the Stage to Scale formula worksheet, I occasionally speak on an actual "stage", but most times I teach/train individuals in a class room or conference setting...sometimes paid...sometimes not.  Do all these activities count as a "stage" event, or should only the events where I was on an elevated platform/stage and/or when I was paid be counted on the "# of stages you're on (annual)" line?

  • Ignacia Josefina Oliver Espinosa

Hi! My name is Ignacia, I am from Colombia.

My question is a broad one. For years I have seen a lot on alternatives to creating businesses (in Internet and others) and only until I heard Pete speak I was convinced that was the actual alternative I want to pursue. I have no product offering yet but have several ideas on what products and services to create.

While doing my BHAG and the exercise on the Stage to Scale Formula, I was thinking and wondering: what is a good size for my goal? I basically wrote what came up to my mind and it was really huge and for an instant I was a bit "nervous" but then I convinced myself that if I was dreaming and setting goals to myself, the least I could do was set up something thats worth the effort - I think it is really Hairy and Audacious!

How do you manage yourself and teach yourself not to think things are too big but rather take yourself forward to huge objetives? How do you break it down so that it isn't overwhelming, in execution terms?

    Thanks!

I am beginning the process of branding myself and becoming more public. I want to use my 15 years of experience in management to help others shorten their learning curve. What can I do now to start getting attention and developing content while taking this course. Should I start sharing information on youtube and linkedin?

I'd really like to dive deep into the science of storytelling. You talked alot about the heart stories that are in the beginning and in the end of your talk. Where would you all suggest taking pointers on storytelling?

Thank you for creating this course, I really excited to grow and move forward. I’m quite embarrassed to share my journey but I’m more hungry to get to the other side so I wanted to share the pin points of my liives journey. I’m a mother of 3 kids. I have had an incredible journey since child hood. From an Achoholic and abusive father who hit my mom giving her black eyes and fat lips to being molested. Then I went into foster homes from 14-18 years old. I went to 7 high schools and 7 foster homes. I then had an eating disorder as a young adult, I went to Remuda Ranch and I was so blessed by god to heal from my eating disorder. I grew up In LA, CA and I sang my whole life from the Set of Friends warming up the Audience to pagents, to my old band of 8 years, I studied musical theatre in NY. Etc. I co wrote an Album called In The Moment with my producer from one of the former temptations. and right when that was ready to be realised. I became pregnant by a 2 month boyfriend. Lots of people pushed for me to give her up for adoption to abortion. I kept her and ended up in a Domestic violent relationship which ended up in a 8 year restraining order in court battles. From this, I stepped away from art. I wanted to change the world with my music, but I ended up creating such a mess I just stepped away from my art. Oh and I forgot I gave my credit and money to an exboyfriend and had to claim Bankruptcy a decade ago. Whats a mess….jumping forward, I met my to be husband which we have two kids of our own, so theres 3 kids in total. Our relationship HAS BEEN SUCH A GIFT AND BLESSING. We have really grown together and i cannot believe how happy we are. We are a holistic family, we do not Vaccinate, I had 3 all natural hombirths were non GMO etc. I have filmed 2 out of the 3 home births to somehow share with the world. Plus I’ve nursed our children without pumping or bottles till they were 3/5 years old. So As I have listened and watched the 10x stage videos. I’m not sure how to change peoples lives with my story. I’m not sure which angle my story should come from? I don’t have any products. I’m not sure what my BHAG should be? I could focus on healing from an eating Disorder? Or more about fitness, health and healing? or I could focus on Becoming a productive person who came from Foster home? or healing from a Domesticly Violent relationship, Or being a holistic, home birthed mother and Wife and how we created a healthy relationship. Or do I pursue my singing. My voice is definetly my gift. My desire is to really being value to the world. I desire to touch peoples heart and lives. I’ve experienced so much I’m not sure what road to travel and share. What does the world need most from my story? Lastly I’m not sure how my journey or story raises money or makes money?

    Thank you very much,
    Theresa

Good Evening - I’m interested in creating stages and giving a platform for others. Curating conversations and moderating is more of my talent and allowing my panelists to tell their stories sell their products / services, etc. What’s the best way to gain revenue from this? % of ticket sales from the event + % of sales generated from my panelists’ products?? Welcome suggestions.

I am an insurance agent and LegalShield associate.  I have set pricing for the products I sell.  When I do a speaking gig, I don't have a free offer.  Do you have any ideas for an offer?  I have legal issues that I have to worry about too.  Thank you for this training!!!

If you haven't built much of a brand, wrote any books, how do you build credibility to get people to trust that you are an expert in your field? We have a digital marketing company that helps alot of health and wellness companies, we want to speak at doctors events and get them to want to hire us, however, we have gained most of our business from cold calling and networking, we do not have a large online presence or base of content so I am worried about  people not knowing who we are  or how legit we are when they look us up

I have a pretty powerful story, and actually wrote a book about it that became an Amazon best-seller, but the niche I am building my business for and the market it's in doesn't apply to my personal story, or my book at all. Any advice as to how/if I can still use my book and personal story, but build out my brand Sologood as I envision it, albeit differently from my book and personal story.

    Thanks!!

How can I have Jarrod's position for 2 weeks?

Its Mathew Park from Montreal, Canada. Id love to hear strategies around most effective strategies to grab attention with an audience that doesnt know you. I have a speaking engagement at one of the largest fitness expos in Canada, getting attention with potentially a distracted audience with other things going on would be a great help. Thanks

Hi! In my current business I’m digging into the Latin community. What would you recommend for someone who wanted to duplicate this growth into Spanish?

If I want to speak on huge stages (10x Stages), are there industries that are going to kill my chances?

Faith is important to me, and I would like to speak at churches; but if I do this, will it kill my chances of talking on a "secular" stage (even though the topic may not include faith, or only casually mentions faith?

I do not own a business nor a product. I am a Latin executive leader at a Fortune 100 company. I am told I am inspirational from being a minority Latin woman leader in a technology environment. I have taken young college students u der my wing for years and help them. I know I can speak amd domanite a floor and have material to share. How do I figure out what my story should be? What product would I also promote? Would you be helping us individually to help us set us up for success? Is that included?
    Thanks!!
I tried to post this earlier but cannot see my post so i am resending it.

What are some preferred methodologies or technologies to use (ie, to set up "text me for this freebie") to gather most of the audience's information?

  • Tyler McBroom

What do you recommend for mixing "technical knowledge" (I'm a CPA discussing taxes) vs. sharing more heart-oriented stories to connect with the audience? I want to deliver value through expertise, but don't want to bore the audience either. I have lots of stories of how tax savings have impacted the lives of our clients.

I'm a scientist who quit their job to follow their passion and become a musician. I have a product that helps musicians learn how to start a teaching business. I want to update this product. When doing that, should I keep focused on musicians, or make the product be applicable to a wider audience since most of the early stuff applies to many businesses.

I'm so out of alignment with what I'm currently doing, My BHAG, and what my products are that I offer. Where should I start to correct this alignment> THanks in advance.
