Do you have tips or suggestions for naming my program?

My first paid gig is in October. My contract is quite vague as she said 50% of the profit after marketing expenses paid and payable in a check in 30 days. Is this typical? I expect to be paid on the spot!

Do you have a speaking contract we can use so we look like a professional speaker instead of signing the event sponsor's forms?

    Hi Pat, Pete and Grant,

Thank you for sharing your knowlegde and value bombs with us. I have two questions:

Could share the worksheet of Pat that is discussed in Pat Quinn's Signature Talk Deep Dive: Content Portion of Presentation?

Do you have a Master Slide deck or template that we could use to build our presentation?

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mark

In the June breakout session I understand that you will be helping to evaluate the speech and the model we have/are putting into place as of this (excellent, by the way!) course.  Are you also going to have videographers and photographers there to help us create a great Speaker video and speaker kit? Thank you.

I recently performed on a local stage and the head of this stage liked the content so much she wants to help me get onto other local stages - so I now have a new champion. However, she has intimated that she wants to become a partner and take a cut in whatever I sell and I am still trying to get this business off the ground. How would you suggest that I approach this? The champions that you are talking about in the training are making recommendations for free, generally? Yet I am sure getting people on stages is part of your business model too, so what kind of a cut is normal for this?

Thank you for your sage advice!

When speaking, how do you approach it being videoed? Do you negotiate that in with the planner or do you bring your own videographer? I had two great venues- one a TEDx talk, with poor or no video done and don’t want to let another stage go by without professional video.

Please upvote this question if you agree. I honestly don't feel ready for graduation. I watched the live streams each week and I have re-watched many of the modules in an attempt to get on track. My signature talk has been revised multiple times and I haven't received enough feedback to feel comfortable with saying that it is stage ready.  Without feeling that the signature talk is stage ready I am struggling with connecting it to the "Story Braid" (which I have also completed) because it has elements that connect my signature to my CTA and closing.  My website is also ready at http://10XDigitialMarketer.com and would appreciate feedback on that too.

We are now approaching graduation and I need help and guidance.  Will questions be answered in the Facebook group by Pat or Pete? What would you recommend for those who might be in the same situation?

    Thank you,

    Ray

I do not have an issue getting on stages. My big issue is scaling. for example, next week, I will be speaking in front of 100 of potential customers. The organizer has advertised that one lucky winner that attends will win a 1 on 1 coaching session with me-for one hour-so we will collect business cards from those that are interested in winning that. My question is, do I also

    1) offer a free gift so i make sure to get everyone's info? or

    2) sell something from stage like attendance to my workshop in june-sign up today for my $4900 workshop and you get $100 off? I cap that workshop at 8 and wont have a problem selling out, so should i even offer it? at a discount? "I'm so confused" lol-

PS This class has been outstanding !! cant wait till the workshop in June!

Thanks for all the great content on researching stages. What are key things we should look for in a speaking contract? Are there red flag items that we should watch for or be wary of? Is there an example of a speaking contract that we might be able to review?

Also, built the speaker portion of my website like you suggested Pete: www.laurenbateman.com/speaker would love a first impression thoughts.

Thanks for a great course....in the process of getting my speaker kit and website done by the end of April.

Should I wait until it's done before reaching out to my champions, or go ahead and reach out to them now, explaining that I am still in the process of getting my media kit together, but wanted to maintain my momentum??

I know you never get a second chance to make a good 1st impression, so just wanted to get your advice ")

One of the ways to promote is by using JVs with other stage owners. I have seen that Pete was promoted by Harv Eker. How do you get in contact with the other platforms and how do you go about initiating such a JV?

My last few nights were shortened as I watched Pete's and Pat's live stream on their new course "From the Greenlight to the  Greenroom" ( I am six hours ahead of East Coast time...). The content was superb and complimentary to the content of this course. People from his other course have the possibility to get that content for free or very cheap. Is there a chance that the participants of this course or the 10X Stages event in June could get this as well?

Hi Pat, Pete, and Grant! This has been a great course!
I’m working on creating my website, 1/2 way through my book, and haven’t even started on my digital product yet. That being said should I create a live workshop to push people to instead so I can sell tickets to a future event (that I’ll have time to plan) or should I hurry and create my digital product?

    In your experience what’s best?

Thank you very much .... and I’ll see you on the 10X STAGE!!!

Hi Pat, Pete and Grant!! Thanks for the course, this has been such an amaizng journey!

I´m a little bit confused on how to get social proof when you haven´t been into stages yet. Should I create my speaker kit and website without this element and start filling this out as soon as I start geeting on stages? Should this be something to "ignore" at this point so I can follow through on creating something and then just complement it on the go?

What types of social proof are the best? Besides testimonials, what other types of social proof could I use?

I would highly appreciate any thoughts on this!

    Thank you very much!

I have 3 stages coming up between August and September.  They are free stages but I will be promoting a non-profit.  I met with the creator of the non-profit yesterday.  They have now asked me to help build one of their platforms.  Its something they have always wanted to do, just didn't have anyone to take it on.  So my questions:

Since they want my help developing this platform for school education and training for Human Trafficking, they also want me to speak at schools and launch this training.  How can I get paid for this since they are still a smaller non-profit?

And how do I go about asking for/finding sponsorship?

    Thanks,

    Alyssa Martinez

First, I'm so PUMPED to have made it through this course! I'm in the process of landing another mega stage in June in front of 20,000+ people, but my product suite isn't complete yet, however, I can at least offer my Free Gift through text opt-in in the meantime. I'm also in the process of partnering up with another 10X Stage entrepreneur, Sheldon for a more impactful product suite for the 10X Stage.

My question is this: What's the time line to finish our product suite for the 10X Stage?

Thanks, and congratulations to all the graduates here!! 🎉

So excited to be finishing the course- it has been so tremendous how quickly eveyrthing has come together in just 8 weeks! I started this course with ZERO. No talk, no product, no stages....just a good "story", but not written down or ever presented. I have yet to win a stage, but I have my talk and product down....here is my question:

My product is a 10 week group (virtual) coaching session that I will lead. I will walk participants through my proprietary process- my "Formula for Rocking at Life". I am struggling with creating my social media presence, and with marketing myself with no history or clients to reference.I have over 15K LinkedIn connections (mostly within real estate) but I just reactivated Facebook for this course after a 2 year hiatus and both my Facebook and instagram accounts are private with only personal friends.

Should I create brand new public social media pages for my speaking "life" or should I be updating my personal pages and taking off my strict privacy settings? Also, if I am to keep my personal pages, should I be removing all of the "crap" from my history/old pictures, etc.?

During my signature talk, I reference "prior clients" numerous times in how I've helped them but I'm really talking about friends and professional relationships- I've never truly taught my "formula" to a single person yet. Need help on framing and how to market myself without any history in speaking or teaching the product I'm selling!

Thank you in advance for your help!

My husband and I are business partners and have been doing the course together.  We did fall behind on our modules a bit- getting stuck on sorting out the Signature talk.  We also have taken a little more time to think through how to make this a duplicatable process for any Distributors we work with in our Company (MLM Structure) in terms of Signature Talk, Stages to look for, etc.

As we progress and catch up - get our Speaker Kit done, etc.  --will the 10X Stages FB Page be an ongoing group that we can post questions and ask for feedback from the group?

Just wondering what if any ongoing support might exist for Alumni of the first class- beyond the Boot camp scheduled for June and next Fall?

    Thanks,   Kaleen

Thank you Pat, Pete & Grant!!! I'm so excited to have come through this course. I am in the process of researching stages and making my Speaker's Kit. Can't really grasp in my mind when I am going to have all of this mastered, will be going back through all of the info again step by step as needed... Ready to just Leap and Learn as I go!!! First Stage in process... I just got a response back from someone that I met while Crewing with Tony Robbins to be on their online Radio Show. I just finished signing up for the 2 Day 10X Weekend in October! Ready to take on the stages of the world!!!

    Question:
I was wondering if the contacts list for TEDx Stages Doc that Taylor Conroy offered could be added directly into the vault as a download. Went to his site, didn't see where to download, filled the form to request, but haven't received as yet.

WOW! What an amazing 8 weeks it has been. THANK YOU so much for offering this program. I now have a roadmap and business model to get on stages and scale beyond the stage. I will certainly miss the weekly coaching calls, but look forward to staying connected with everyone. Two quick questions. I am applying to be on a stage and part of the application they ask for these two things:

    1) Title of Your Session

    2) Abstract (150-250 words)

Any advice that you would give us to create a concise and attractive Session Title? As for the Abstract, what are some of the most important things that I should include here? I figure we should put the problems we solve, but is there anything else I can add in there to stand out?

Again, THANK YOU Pete, Pat, and Grant so much for this amazing opportunity.

    Courtney

Question:   If we wanted to create a generic signature talk formula (following heart, head, hands, heart) to teach to our downline that they can duplicate (as they do a signature talk on the same product that we all sell)  Do you have a suggestion on how to help them develop their heart story.  The head and hands would be the same for every Distributor.   Could the heart model be applied from the viewpoint of the Company that we represent - what makes them ordinary, , extraordinary and the mission statement of the company as the purpose?  Then the person giving the talk could end with a personal story for the closing heart? Pat or Pete- have you seen that work (in the MLM) model to create a generic presentation format that can be taught and duplicated to an entire team of sales people where you don't want each talk to be unique but to be mostly the same?

Congratulations to my fellow Graduates! Will we receive some type of certificate so I can frame it and use it for social media?
