What is a good way to find out there is a need/desire for what you’re trying to sell?
1 -
When you spoke about giving the audience the option to text their questions - you use your own personal cell # for that, or you have two phones/numbers?
And will you use your own personal cell to call audience members, or is it an alternate number? I ask, to know if giving out your direct contact info ever leads to you being inundated with calls?
I know the goal is to have open communication. I just wonder if it becomes unmanageable or if there are ever personal safety issues with that.

Will we have access to your own signature talk (you and Pete) to see al the part in action ?
-1 -
1) Will having a Q and A session distract people from taking quick action and buying your product/service?
2) If you have a NEW product, in your talk you said to embed at the end of your content. Did you mean at the end of your 1st and 3rd points? My concern is if I wait to embed at the end of my content, then I'll cause the "salesy" feeling; because the hands portion is next.
3) What are the crucial differences between speaking to TEENS/COLLEGE STUDENTS vs. adults? Do you have any recommendations for changes I should make because of their brain development? Does humor and interaction become crucial?
2 -
The speech flow in your talks during the videos are flawless. There is no hesitation from one idea to the other. Do you have any Ninja tip for that? Do you use a prompter? Do you have any tools or technics behind the scene that can help us approach your level of perfection?
5 -
1. When gauging your audience, ie are they beginners or are they experts, you almost need several different core offers. I guess we will cover this in the next module?
2. Regarding anchor price and conference special price.... How does your conference price actually relate to the price that you would sell that product, say on your website for the general population (the ones that are not conference attendees)?
3. For the limiters (you all showed the 2 nights free accommodations): What is a reasonable incentive offering relative to the actual product you are selling?
Thanks in advance.

If I'm a new speaker and don't have a testimonial as of yet, what recommendation do you have on how to get the audience to trust and believe in the service I'm selling?
3 -
So I went through my talk and I used some personal examples and then I listened to the embedding section and wanted to go back in and add case studies. Is it redudant to use examples from my own life which also teach a lesson about working with a mentor or a coach and also using a case study, or would it be better to use just the case study. For example, in my third section, I talk about the importance if investing in your team to give you more time to work on your business instead of in your business and how not doing so in my business caused me to miss crucial moments in my life, like being in the hospital when my step father passed away. I also have a testimonial from a client I have worked with who I helped start building a team to free up more of his time and relive some stress in his life and business. Can I include both examples or is that overkill?

For clarity- when should the Q&A be? After the closing heart or before?

Is there a way to have 2 people speak at the same time? My wife and I are a speaking duo. We have the same proprietary process, content, and similar whys based on our unique experiences. (we are both speaking to people recovering from addictions and have unique stories of our own). Is there any way we can both speak from the stage at the same time? Or would you recommend we speak separately. Regardless we are both working on our individual signature talks as well. Thanks!

Is it a good idea to have common questions in the content area of the talk? I am a dentist and my talk is around dental implants. I have in the past had slides to talk about pain, length of treatment, or am I a candidate? My thought was to continue to have these in the presentation as slides and preemptively tell the audience that we will have a Q&A and to write down their questions or text them to a number, as suggested. This is near the end of my content section right before I transition to my offer.
What is your recommendation to have the most effective slide?
Thanks,
Taj
PS Pete, I am the bald headed dentist that met you at the 10X conference behind the stage and said, "Can you help dentists? Let's do this!"

Can you give an example of what you would say to the audience about the benefits they would receive after the sale? Is it more so painting a picture of what their life would look like or trying to appeal to a certain emotion? Thanks!

COLLECTING CONTACT DETAILS
For years I have been collecting contact details with circulating a sign-up list among the audience. It works but I wonder if that is legal nowadays re: GDPR issues. I offer the audience a FREE GIFT which is the summary of the presentation (facts, not a video).
But where the sales come from, are with the ones who come to talk to me straight after my presentation, and we change business cards.
Which is better: collecting the contact details collectively (circulating the sign-up paper) or an individual card at each seat?
Thanks, Tuija K, Finland [toya]

GETTING THE LANGUAGE RIGHT
Obviously, as a foreign speaker, I should get the language right more than you native speakers. Can you possibly recommend me/us a language coach to get the vocabulary, grammar and all little nuances of the language right. I know that the audience will loose interest if they have to struggle with understanding the language. Nothing is worse than the talk being too simple or boring.
Thank you, Tuija, Finland

When speaking to anyone under 18 years old, how do we give them something free to get their information legally or sell them something from the stage?

Update from last week - I gave my talk to the high schoolers. The story braid structure went very well, and I had a deliverable to offer them (it was sign up for free, I'll send you a video). Out of 50 students, 9 signed up. I learned a ton from the experience, and especially after watching the subsequent modules in the course. So many ah-ha moments came out as I learned about setting up the room, how to talk to the event organizer before the message... how to embed testimonials and how I want the audience to engage with me. Man, so many things I can improve on!
I booked another, similar message speaking to a group of 50-100 high schoolers in a different entrepreneurship club at the end of March. I'm going to take it and use it as an opportunity to refine my skills further.
Thank you for all the value you're providing - this course is absolutely incredible! And I'm looking forward to hearing more about Milwaukee :)

My signature speech is about helping people who feel trapped with fear, insecurities, and lack of purpose. I will walk people through the steps I took to overcome those issues. From your experience, what scaling platform do you feel is most effective? I can elaborate more on this in the following weeks, but wanted to get my question in before we started our live chat. Thanks and thanks again for creating this course!!

My Question: I'm not sure what my bonuses i should have and what my core offer should be. I don't have any webinar training videos, not real estate to show from what i know from what i have learned. I just have a great presence on stage and great stories. Where do i go from here? Thank you for making this program that has changed my life already!!

During the cost of doing nothing part of the presentation, can we mention specific numbers of anticipated sales of most clients? For example: "When we launch an informational product, we typically see over $60,000 of product sales in 90 days of launch. What could $60,000 in new sales do for you? That's what we're here for at Magic Media Marketing."
Or should we leave it more vague?

These are questions regarding the Signature Talk Content
My husband and I are in a network Marketing business structure selling Health supplements.
The product packages and prices are fixed and produced and distributed by our parent company.
We are running into a bit of confusion and barriers because we have two audiences we serve when we do presenations and then two sets of problems to address (Health and Wealth) (a: Consumer and / or b: Business Opportunity --somone wanting to start their own business as a distributor of the product.)
So we feel we need to create multiple talks and need help to distinguish (if we start with one- what the core talk should be)
These are the categories we need to create:
1. Talk for only consumers
2. Talk for only the business opportunity to be a distributor of the product
3. Talk that combines a call to action to buy and take the product/ products and join the team to distrubute product and build a business.
4. Also Signature Talk where we talk on our own (just me or him) and one where we woudl talk together as a partnership.
??We think we should do a talk first that combines sharing about the product and the business opportunity as a team and then maybe do the other versions that branch off as there is a need to separate them at times depending on purpose and audience of an event?
We will be talking on live stages but also through digital stages (webinars)
?? We do not have an idea of what free offer we can exchange with the audience that would add value to them and allow us to collect their identity for future communciation and contact?
?? Also our vision is much bigger than even the products we sell and company we respresent. In the future- we woud like to be on stages to speak and inspire people to make changes in their lives and lead intentional lives. Would it be good to also develop a generic, insprirational talk that builds trust and credibtiliiy as to who we are as leaders that then might also open the door to us giving specific talks on our product / company?
Thank you for your help
